This shirt, brought to you by Impact Theory guest Jarrett Adams, is a symbol of the transformation from wrongfully convicted felon to practicing attorney. The shirt depicts a person leaving prison with the bars behind them; he’s carrying a briefcase and wearing a suit. Neither a business man, nor lawyer, but rather a symbol of a man putting the worse behind him and walking toward possibility and hope.

This shirt is meant to empower men and women leaving the prison system by giving them a symbol of success.

Former Impact Theory guest, Jarrett Adams, is the co-founder of Life After Justice, the Investigator of the Year award recipient, and a relentless advocate for legal reform.

After being wrongfully convicted at the age of 17, and sentenced to 28 years in a maximum security prison. Jarrett both taught himself the law and launched a tireless outreach campaign that secured the aid of the Wisconsin Innocence Project. After being exonerated of his conviction in 2007, Jarrett attended and graduated from law school in 2015. He then passed the New York State bar and won a coveted position clerking for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals - the very court that overturned his conviction.
